More than 50 vendors — almost double last year’s total — are expected to be at the seventh annual Fourth of July celebration and fireworks at Bryan Park on Friday night.
The celebration will start at 6 p.m., with the fireworks planned after dark.
The vendors include food trucks/tents, entertainment, such as JumpingWithUs and Athens Skate Park, which will set up ramps and obstacles, and merchants.
The Arnoldsville Fire Department will host a dunking booth and Salem Baptist Church will hand out glow-in-the-dark bracelets, temporary tattoos and popsicles, the Oglethorpe County Library will have free books and the Oglethorpe County Bee Club will have fresh local honey.
Vendors include: Crawford Pizza, Dynamite Concessions, Sweet Treats by Briana, Wayne’s Boiled Peanuts, Cosmic Crunch Candy, Kona Ice, Sweet Cheeks by Lisa, Kenziebee Lemonade, Retro Fizz Specialty Drinks and Connie's Creations, among others.
Merchants include: Southern Magnolia Sass, Sopi Skincare, Pine Valley Creations, Fireflies at Roxy's, PJ Jewelry Box, BB's Creations and Prospero Illustrations, among others.
