The Oglethorpe Echo
The Georgia Department of Public Health confirmed a positive case of rabies in Oglethorpe County, according to a Feb. 7 press release.
The skunk was located on Hargrove Lake Road in Crawford and sent to the State Public Health Laborator on Feb. 3. Residents in this area are being advised to take precautions.
