Pine Grove Road paving plan sparks debate in Arnoldsville

Pine Grove Road in Arnoldsville may be paved, but it might also need waterline work. Arnoldsville council member Blake Arnold introduced a motion last Thursday to explore adding waterline upgrades and a new fire hydrant to the Pine Grove Road paving project.

Community Center progresses amid funding challenges

Renovations and work on the Lexington Community Center, formerly the Macon Coil building, are underway. However, fundraising goals still haven’t been met.

Zoning board approves coffee shop, deer processing plant

Oglethorpe County is one step closer to having a new coffee shop.   Amy Delfin-Torres’ plan to open a coffee shop at 9 Callaway Road was approved by the zoning board on Monday night.
