Winterville Cultural Center program aims to provide creative 'third place'

Attendees gather at the Winterville Cultural Center every Thursday, sipping free coffee or hot chocolate while working on paintings and other projects in a space specifically set aside for their creativity and community.

Hobby with heart: Local teen turns banner painting into business

What began as a handmade birthday gift for her younger brother has grown into a small business for 17-year-old Carlie Gabriel, an Oglethorpe County High School senior.
