The Oglethorpe Echo
The Commercial Bank has hired Oglethorpe County native Dan Brubaker as a lender in its Crawford branch.
Brubaker serves as the vice president of the Oglethorpe County Farm Bureau, is a member of Comer Baptist Church and owns and operates DLB Farms, a poultry, cattle and hay farm.
“I am excited about the addition of Dan to our Crawford team,” said Mike Sale, president and CEO. “Dan has deep roots in our community and a strong desire to serve others. That desire is evident in his past work experience and especially in his service to our great nation as part of the United States Marine Corps. Dan’s commitment to service and our community makes him a great addition to our TCB team and culture.”
Brubaker holds a Bachelor of Science in animal sciences from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Brenau University. He has also worked as a financial adviser and insurance agent.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of The Commercial Bank, which was founded in Oglethorpe County in 1924. It has branches in Crawford, Winterville, Athens/Oconee, Danielsville and Colbert.
