OCHS homecoming scheduled next week

    Homecoming festivities will fill Oglethorpe County High School next week.

     

    The high school will have special themed days, starting Monday with Pajama Day. Tuesday is Crazy Hat Day, followed by Wear Pink Wednesday. Thursday is Rhyme Without Reason and Friday is White Out Day.

     

    The homecoming parade, featuring the homecoming court, is scheduled for 6 p.m. in Crawford on Thursday, Sept. 19. The parade will depart from and return to Bryan Park. It will travel down North Street, past the depot and proceed down North Woodlawn Drive.

     

    If a team, club or organization would like to enter the parade, contact Oglethorpe County High School. The deadline to enter in the parade is Monday, Sept. 16.

     

    The OCHS football team will play Elbert County at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20. Tickets are $10. The homecoming court will be recognized and the queen and king will be crowned at halftime.

     

    Homecoming week will conclude with a dance on Saturday, Sept. 21. Tickets are $10 and will be sold to students during school hours.
