Q&A: County planner McKenzie Spooner settles into role

McKenzie Spooner said servant leadership runs in her family. A month into her position as county planner, The Oglethorpe Echo spoke with Spooner about her background, her goals and how her responsibilities serve the needs of Oglethorpe County residents.

    Q: You grew up in neighboring Wilkes County — what are the similarities you see between Wilkes and Oglethorpe?
