Zoning requests strike balance between development, rural living

The Oglethorpe County Zoning Board meets at 6 p.m. Mondays, two weeks before the Board of Commissioners meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 21 in the BOC meeting room at 105 Union Point Road.

    Oglethorpe County has seen a significant increase in zoning requests, said Janet Hill, chair of the Oglethorpe County Zoning Board.
