Alvin Hank Massey, 76, of Flowery Branch, died Monday, May 20, 2024 at his residence.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2024 at Memorial Park South Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Osteen officiating.
Massey was born April 12, 1948 to the late Gerald and Leila Shaw Massey in Crawford. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and attended Set Free Church.
He is survived by his son, Jerry Massey of Flowery Branch; daughter, Edith (Tim) Dodd of Gainesville; brother, Hal (Doreen) Massey of Arnoldsville; sisters, Doris Lovern of Bishop, Brenda Lance of Hull, Fay (Paul) Thompson of Colbert and Hilda (Doug) Vaughters of Winder; and grandchildren, Robin Dodd and Russell Dodd.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Charlene Massey.
