Dorothy G. McElroy Ross, 82, of Atlanta, died Sept. 16, 2026.
The funeral service was 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Carlton, with Pastor Wyman McElroy Jr., eulogist and pastor Arthur Hubbard, officiant. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Ronnie) Ross Smittick; son, Timothy James (Keisha) Ross; stepson, Edward Earl (Julie) Ross; siblings, Arrie “Tina” Beasley, Cathy (Fred) Lowery, Harriett (Lee) Watson, John “Dutch” McElroy, and Wyman (Adlene) McElroy; grandchildren, great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Jones Funeral Chapel, Crawford, was in charge of services.
