Bobby Dean, of Carlton, died Jan. 16, 2025. The funeral service was at 1 p.m. Jan. 25 at Thankful Grove Baptist Church. Pastor Michael Gresham was the eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Alma Jean Dean; children Wynee (Robert) Jewell, Jacquelyn Long, Willie Dean and Bobby Dean Jr. and Sherry Scott; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings Charlie Dean, Lonnie Sims and James Sims; other relatives and friends.
Jones Funeral Chapel of Crawford was in charge of services.
