Carrie Lou Grizzle Robinson, 99, passed away on Dec. 12, 2025.
She was born to the late Raleigh and Annie Moose Grizzle on June 7, 1926. She was preceded in death by her siblings Edgar Grizzle, Charlie Grizzle, Paul Grizzle, Larry Grizzle, Ella Mae (Ellie) Calhoun and Bertha Gooch. She is survived by one sibling, Nellie Ruth (Nell) Simmons.

Carrie was raised in Lumpkin County, Georgia, and was married to Dock Robinson for 37 years. They made a job-related move to Athens, where they began a mobile home rental business. Carrie had a kind, spirit-filled and loving heart, and helped others many times when seeing they were in need. She was of the Baptist faith and a longtime member of Winterville First Baptist Church.
She would say her faith in God and its resulting salvation were her greatest and most valued life achievements. The joy and love of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her many smiles and fun times.
