Mr. Charles Ralph Bellew, 71, of Lexington Carlton Road in Carlton, died at his home on Sunday, March 31, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Bellew was born to Charles Henry Bellew and Lexie Ardrath Partain Bellew on April 3, 1952 in Elberton. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol Ann Nichols Bellew, and siblings Debbie Wheless of Lake City, Florida, Ray Bellew of Maude, Oklahoma, Evelyn Power of Carlton, Laura Graham of Bowman, and Randy Bellew of Bowman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Calhoun.
Funeral services to celebrate his life were held 2 p.m., Thursday, April 4 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. The family received friends from noon to 2 p.m., prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Carlton City Cemetery with Ben Power, Greg Graham, Mark Bellew, Mike Scoggins, Jacob Bellew, Sammy Calhoun, Daniel Prince and Kevin Bellew serving as pallbearers.
