Connie Ann Hall Cook, 76, of Park Avenue, Crawford, wife of Michael Glenn Cook Sr., passed away on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital while surrounded by those who loved her most.

Cook was born in Athens on April 1, 1948, daughter of the late John Wilson Hall Sr. and Mary Louise Williams Hall. She accepted Christ as her personal savior.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her children: Michael Glenn Cook Jr. and his wife Katrina of Lexington, Crystal Michele Wade and her husband Danny of Homer, and Sheila Williams of Danielsville; siblings: Jimmie Lee Hall of Maysville, John Wilson Hall Jr. of Ila, Jerry Hall of Bowman, and Diane Stanford of Danielsville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Jo Bryant.

Connie was a loving mother and devoted wife to her husband Glenn, for 53 years. She loved taking care of her dog Bonnie, taking beach trips with her daughter Crystal and shopping with her sister Diane. What she loved the most was putting puzzles together and sipping coffee on the back porch with Glenn.

Connie was retired, but still employed at Greater Georgia Printers, where she got to work with her son Michael for more than 12 years.

She could light up a room with her laugh and was never afraid to speak her mind. Connie would always put the needs of others before herself. Though she isn’t here with us physically any longer, she made an impression on our lives forever.

Although no services will be held, her wishes were for family and friends to gather at their home throughout this time.

Berry Funeral Home & Crematory of Elberton is assisting the family of Connie Ann Hall Cook.
