Daris Pope Sr., 78, of Athens, died Aug. 29, 2022.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Morton Grove Baptist Church. Interment with Military Honors at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Pope; children, Daris Pope, Jr., Preston Pope, and Xhantalon Jennings; siblings,Edward and Leo Scott, Constance Craft, Sandra Hall and Hattie Jewel; and other relatives and friends.
Jones Funeral Chapel, LLC, of Crawford was in charge of services.
