David Goolsby, 65, of Carlton, died April 20, 2026.
The funeral service was 3 p.m. Sunday, April 26 at Fork Creek Baptist Church in Carlton, with Pastor Antony Williams, eulogist.
Interment was in the Shiloh/Fork Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Stephanie Newton-Goolsby; children, Tanisha Jones, Lafarrah Chappell, Shandra Goolsby, Destani Moon-Clinton (Shaquille), Kam'Ron Mattox (Juvonna), Jessica Goolsby and Deldvin Moon; siblings, Bobbie Goolsby, John Goolsby, Eleanor Mattox (Nathaniel), Donnie Goolsby (Vickie), Daphney Goolsby-Mitchell (Willie) and Hershel Goolsby; 19 grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Jones Funeral Chapel, Crawford was in charge of services.
