KC Mitchell, 93, of Lexington, died Sept. 8, 2026.
The funeral service was 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14 at Oconee Baptist Church in Stephens, with Pastor Ronnie Swoopes, eulogist, Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Alice Mitchell; children, Phylistine (Carlton) Jones, Maxine Mitchell, Linda (Linton) Long and Lutricia Mitchell; brother, Bobby (Beatrice) Mitchell; sister, Lucy Horn; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Mary Lue Mitchell, Doris Turner and Pauline Hull; other relatives and friends.
Jones Funeral Chapel, Crawford, was in charge of services.
