Evelyn Vanessa “Van” Smith, 69, of Stone Mountain, formerly of Carlton, died Dec. 11, 2024.
The funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at New Hope Baptist Church, with Pastor Michael Gresham, eulogist.
Survivors include her son Antwain (Brandy) Smith; brother Eddie J. (Shirley) Smith; sisters Joyce S. Turner and Sherri Rembert Smith; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Jones Funeral Chapel of Crawford was in charge of services.
