Gail A. Heard, 64, of Comer died May 9, 2024.
The funeral service was 1 p.m. Thursday, May 16 at Thankful Grove Baptist Church in Carlton, with Pastor Ronald Gantt, eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, Martha Mae Heard; daughter, Lakeshia Freeman-Jordan (Tamaine); grandchildren, Tyler Jordan and Kennadi Jordan; sisters, Janie (Rev. Ronald) Gantt, Lorraine Barnett and Evelyn (Joseph) Baughns; brothers, George (Sandra) Thornton, Clifford (Shirley) Heard and Dwight (Regina) Heard; fiancee, John Goolsby; bonus children, Jamahl Goolsby and Mariah Goolsby; aunt, Readie Hood; and other relatives and friends.
Jones Funeral Chapel, Crawford, was in charge of services.
