Gary Wayne Walker, 70, of Colbert, passed away Oct. 16, 2024. He was the son of the late John and Virginia Walker, who was also preceded by his brother Kenneth Walker. Gary was a member and worked for Local 72 Plumbers and Pipefitters for 53 years.
Survivors include Delores Walker, his wife of over 48 years, daughters and son Heather (Arne) Triplett, Amy Walker, Carrie Hill and Gary (Amy) Walker Jr.; sister and brother David Walker and Sylvia Thames; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
No formal services will take place. A gathering to celebrate his life will be held from 2-4 p.m. at the family home on what would be his birthday, Sunday, Oct. 20.
