Geraldine McElroy, of Athens died Dec. 26, 2025. The funeral service was 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Carlton, with Pastor Arthur Hubbard, eulogist. Interment was in the Fork Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, John McElroy; children, Petrina Laquins, Renee (Jermayne) Bolton, Ryan McElroy and Omar Wise; siblings, Sylvester (Doris) Murray and Gloria Edwards Cammon; grandchildren; great grandson; special cousin, Katherine Bell; and other relatives and friends.
Jones Funeral Chapel was in charge of services.
