Helen S. Henson, 62, of Athens, died Aug. 7, 2026. The funeral service was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15 at Fair Play Baptist Church in Hull. Pastor Tracy Gaither was the eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her sons, Corwin Showalter, Ezekiel Porter, Jarvis Henson and Nicholas Henson; sisters, Lisa (Willie) Henson, Georgia Henson, Gena Snow, Bennetha (Lazarus) Jones and Felishia Ali; brothers, Walter Cook, Chris (Gwen) Stevens, Greg Henson and Nicolas Henson; three grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Jones Funeral Chapel, Crawford was in charge of services.
