James E. Harper, of Lexington, died Aug. 6, 2024. The funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at Jones Funeral Chapel,
Evangelist Johnna Perkins was the eulogist.
Survivors include his wife Charlene Pryor Harper, children Brian Smith, Rodney Harper, Doug Pierce, Sonya Harper and Jovanne Harper-McCoy, siblings Mary Moore, Alvin Harper and Carthell Harper; seven grandchildren and other relatives.
Jones Funeral Crawford of Crawford was in charge of services.
