Keith Garry Hart
Keith Garry Hart, 66, of Winterville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Franklin County, Keith was the beloved son of the late Brantley Hart and Betty Murray Hart.
He was a man known for his strong work ethic, kind heart and unwavering devotion to those he loved. For more than 35 years, he worked as a dedicated truck driver with FP Enterprises, providing for his family with pride and perseverance.
In addition, he owned and operated Hart’s Produce for over 20 years, where he became a familiar and friendly face in the community. Through his work, Keith built not only a business, but countless friendships that will be cherished for years to come.
Keith’s greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and a proud grandfather who treasured every moment spent with his children and grandchildren.
His quiet strength, steady presence, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Sammy Hart and Barbara Stone.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years, Carolyn Hart; his children, James Hart (Brandy) and Amanda Hart; his siblings, Randy Hart (Karen), Michael Hart (Donna), Cynthia Layton, Patsy Bridges (Greg) and Dorothy Kirk (Daryl): sister-in-law, Marie Jordan (Kenneth); and his cherished grandchildren, Kaylee, Adalyn, Harmony, Mary, and Brooke.
He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close in their hearts.
A time of visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 4 at the funeral home.
