Linda Fay McElroy-Malcom, 84, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025.
Linda was born on March 15, 1941, in Oconee County to Albert and Sarah Osborn-McElroy.
Linda is survived by daughter and son-in law Teresa (Barry) Gee, Arnoldsville; son Kenneth Malcom, Athens; daughter and son-in-law Renee (Dustin) Brooks, Hartwell; sister Nina Moon, Crawford; brother and sister-in-law Billy and Darla McElroy, Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by daughter Tina Bishop, Jacksonville, Florida; sisters Iris Thomas-Payne, Bogart; Emily Watson, Loganville; and brother James McElroy, Loganville.
Linda was a loving mother and grandmother.
The family is planning a memorial service on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Time and place will be announced once available.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Whispering Pines Assisted Living. Thank you for all your “special acts of love.”
The family also would like to thank all the representatives from hospice. Their love and sensitivity helped bring comfort to the family.
