L.M. Harper, III, of Crawford, died Oct. 27, 2023. The funeral service was Friday, Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. at Billups Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charles E. Dickey, eulogist. Interment was in Athens Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie Carey Harper; daughter, LaShanda (Patrick) Harper-Barksdale; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a niece raised in the home, Renee Upshaw; sisters, Henrietta Henson and Edna Marie Rogers; brother, Kirby Bell; six sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law;other siblings, relatives and friends.
Jones Funeral Chapel, LLC of Crawford was in charge of services.
