Michael Smith, 69, of Carlton died July 21, 2025. The funeral service was at noon Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Fork Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Victor Appling, eulogist, and Pastor Christopher Watson, officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his siblings Betty (Garland) Johnson, Lula Mae Stevens, Roger (Charlie Ann) Smith, Edward (Brenda) Smith and William Smith; and other relatives and friends.
Jones Funeral Chapel of Crawford was in charge of services.
