Oakley German, a beloved and cherished baby girl, passed away on Aug. 30, 2024 at the age of 2. She brought joy and love to all who knew her during her short but impactful life.
Oakley is survived by her mother Kassidy Bryson and her father Preston German, sisters Alyssa Bennett, Chancey German and Nova German, uncles Remington (Ashley) Bryson, Brad (Ashley) Stephens, Grayson (Christina) German, aunt Dora (Zach) Trapp, grandmother Kathy (Terry) Cowart, Cynthia Clark, grandfather Lewis German, cousins Mason, Ridge, Bryson, William, Sutton, Tucker, Bailey Bennett, Aubrey Bennett and Bentley Bennett.
Oakley was preceded in death by her aunt Chancey Bryson and her grandfather Grover Earl Bryson.
A visitation to honor Oakley's memory will be held from 1-2 p.m. Sept. 8 at Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes at 4355 Lexington Road, Athens 30605. This will be followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. with interment to immediately follow at Athens Memory Gardens.
