Perry Henderson Pledger, 81, husband of Deborah Zucker Pledger, died on Monday, Oct. 21, 2024.
Born in Athens, he was the son of the late Harvey Henderson Pledger and Mary Lucille Freeman Pledger, and brother to the late Sandra Butler.
Perry retired from 3M as an engineer and enjoyed the outdoors, spending time deer hunting.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include four children, Charles Pledger, Michael (Katrina) Wood, Steven (Brooke) Wood and Danielle (Brad) Anglin; sister Mary Ellen Larue, 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 at Lord & Stephens East Chapel. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m., prior to the service.
