Samuel Mitchell, 59, of Lexington, died May 23, 2024. The funeral service was at noon, Thursday, May 30 at New Springhill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Reginald Hunter, eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, K.C. Mitchell and Alice Mitchell; children, Devin A. Mitchell, Christopher R. Mitchell, Donja D. Gresham and Keyondra C. Mitchell; siblings, Phylistine (Carlton) Jones, Maxine Mitchell, Linda (Linton) Long and Lutricia Mitchell; grandchildren, Roman Mitchell, Maya Mitchell, Landon LLeva, Donja Gresham Jr., Kingsley Gresham, Brinleigh Gresham and Marlee Young; aunts, Lucy Horn, Doris Turner and Pauline Hull; uncles, Dock (Dorothy) Hull and Bobby (Beatrice) Mitchell; other relatives and friends; and a special friend, Carmieal Gresham.
Jones Funeral Chapel of Crawford was in charge of services.
