Saniah Appling, 14, of Crawford, died April 19, 2024.
The funeral service was 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024 at New Grove Baptist Church in Winterville, with Pastor Elijah Swift, eulogist. Interment was in the New Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, LaKeshia (James) Jewell; father, Robert Pelts; sisters, Dream Appling, Sierra Pelts and Ny’asia Jewell; brothers,Robert Pelts, Karter Jewell and Kayson Pelts; grandparents, Annette Dye (Randy Smith), Joan (Thomas-Dean Broadney) Bonds-Broadney, and Stacey Appling; step-grandparent Sholanda Appling; great-grandmother, Geraldine Appling (great-grandfather, Curtis Appling who preceded in death); and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jones Funeral Chapel, LLC of Crawford was in charge of services.
