Mr. Willie Melton Moses, affectionately called “Mohawk”, was born Jan. 26.
1956 in Stephens to the late Willie W. Gresham and Ms. Marietta Moses. He peacefully transitioned on Aug. 25 at the age of 68.
He was educated in the Oglethorpe County School System, where he graduated in 1974. He was in the trucking industry for most of his adult life and loved drag racing.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his special companion Jerri Pearl Bonds, his mother Marietta Moses, children Monica (Reginald) Mattox of Crawford, Wilfredo (Lawanda) Moses of Jonesboro, Georgia, and LeFaye (Jerry) Moses of Griffin, Georgia.
His stepson Patrick (Keyonna) Bonds of Winterville, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-grandchildren, siblings, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
