Wylie B. Watkins, 81, of Lexington, died Jan. 12, 2024. The funeral service was at 1 p.m. Thursday at Jones Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Johnny Smith, eulogist. Interment was in Athens Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his children, Millie (Willie) Bailey, Wylie (Rose) Watkins, Meta Ann Watkins, Priscilla (Ricky) Smith, and Tammy Moon; siblings, Annie Sue Armstrong, Lugenia Smith, Louise (James) Mattox, and Mattie Mae Bell; 10 grandchildren; 29 great -grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; companion, Barbara Thomas; stepson, Errol Thomas; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Hill; and other relatives.
Jones Funeral Chapel, LLC, Crawford was in charge of services.
