Reyes Pacheco scored and Dominic Piscitelli had an assist to lead the Oglethorpe County boys soccer team to a 1-0 overtime victory over Prince Avenue on Monday.

 

Marin Sampson, Abby Cabaniss and Emily Forschler each scored goals to lead the OCHS girls team to a 4-1 victory over Prince Avenue. 

 

Emmaleigh Hemmingway and Eve Myers added assists for the Lady Patriots.

 

Paradise has Patriots’ top score

 

Phil Paradise shot a 46 to lead the Oglethorpe County golf team in a match against Putnam County at the Uncle Remus Golf Course in Eatonton on March 7.

 

White leads baseball team past Greene

 

Tripp White pitched three perfect innings and struck out seven batters to lead Oglethorpe County to a 15-0 victory over Greene County in a game called after three innings in Lexington on Tuesday night.

 

Haiden Ashworth led the offense and Quinn Ossick singled to drive in the run that ended the game in the third inning.

 

The Patriots improved to 6-5.

 

On March 7, the Patriots scored once in the eighth and ninth innings to rally past Banks County 5-4 in Homer.

 

Matthew Martin struck out two batters in 1⅔ shutout innings for the win. He also drove in a run and stole a base. Ashworth scored two runs and stole a base, and Evans Wilkins had a hit, stole a base and scored a run.

 

On March 8, East Jackson scored three runs in the sixth for a 4-2 victory over the Patriots in Commerce. 

 

Austin Lowe drove in a run, and Jackson Tatum and Ryder Goodson had hits for the Patriots.
