Several personal records were established as the Oglethorpe County cross country teams finished fourth (girls) and fifth (boys) at Gladiator Invitational at Piedmont Preserve on Saturday.
Elin Turner (23:15), Margarita Rodriguez (27:53), Pricila Lopez Salas (33:41) and Lurdes Hernandez (34:26) each have set overall PRs for the girls team.
Phil Paradise (19:57), Logan Grier (19:58), Cory Tillman (20:22), Logan Tatum (21:52), Josiah Young (22:19), Peyton Duvall (23:53) and Nathan Reesman (29:03) have set PRs for the boys team.
Sydnie Henderson won the race with a 20:28, her best time this year, and Turner was second.
“Their hard work at practice is paying off,” coach Melissa McGarity said.
