Quiet Oaks Health Care Center’s decision to cancel its Halloween carnival due to a COVID-19 outbreak disheartened residents and community members, but the concern now is how the facility manages the virus in a post-pandemic world.

Glenn, library help connect residents with resources

Kendarious Glenn saw the need for health care aid in his hometown and decided to return to Oglethorpe County after furthering his education.

Lewis finishes 10th at HOSA conference

Peyton Lewis had a change of heart after initially steering clear of respiratory therapy and trying a “bunch of different things” relating to health care, like CPR and first aid training.
