- The Lambert brothers showed up ready for candy at the Oglethorpe County rec center. Two-year-old Beckett Lambert and five-year-old Beau Lambert stand in front of their older brother, Brantlee Lambert, who is 9, as they show off their costumes. - Williamson Sintyl, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, smiles with his daughter as they make the rounds, collecting candy and spending time with the community. Sintyl attended the annual Trunk or Treat event with his family for the fourth time on Thursday. “This community has a special place in my heart, because I never feel a stranger in this community,” Sintyl said. “This is where my family belongs. We've strived to serve, to give, to make an impact here, and we are so grateful to be in this community.”
- Not only were Dylan Henderson (monkey) and Landon Henderson (elephant) celebrating Halloween this year, but they also celebrated 15 months the next day. “They’re my miracle babies,” said Kelly Henderson, the boys’ mom. - The Noltensmeier family won the trunk decorating contest with their “Twisters” inspired ambulance. Oglethorpe County EMS provided the ambulance and SJ Noltensmeier provided the theme. “The inspiration is the 7-year-old who wanted to be Glen Powell,” Taylor Noltensmeier, SJ's mom, said. - Attendees at this year’s trunk or treat event lined up outside of the rec center for their chance to join the festivities and collect their candy. - Crawford Pentecostal Church showed out at this year's Trunk or Treat event in the hope's of defending their title for best decorated trunk for the third year in a row and spreading the message of “We Bee-Long to Jesus.” They were awarded second place this year, but the ultimate prize was getting to spread the word to the community and have fun. - All aboard the Magic School Bus! Oglethorpe County bus drivers Chesney Garrett (from left), Tracy Boss and Teresa Saxon didn’t just bring a car to Trunk or Treat, they brought the entire school bus. The bus was a popular attraction at this year’s eighth annual Trunk or Treat event as students climbed aboard to receive their candy and exit through the back door.
