Eight former Oglethorpe County High School athletes and coaches will be inducted in the school’s sports hall of fame on Saturday, Oct 26.
The year’s group includes Harold Benson, Nicole Bonner-Grant, George Gresham, Michael Goolsby, James Haynie, Craig Mathews, Nichole Raines and Latange Wise.
The induction banquet will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Oglethorpe County High School cafeteria.
Tickets are $30 and can be purchased by calling the OCHS office at 706-743-8124 or Marilyn Huff-Waller at 706-202-6060.
A souvenir program will be available at the induction ceremony for all attendees.
The OCHS Sports Hall of Fame was created in 2019. Photos of the members are displayed in the entry hall at OCHS.
