New Oglethorpe County wrestling coach Steve Mason has scheduled a beginner wrestling camp next week for boys and girls who will be in the sixth grade and lower with less than one year of wrestling experience.
The camp will be held from 6:30-7:40 p.m. May 28-30 at Oglethorpe County’s wrestling gym (blue building past the BOE office).
The cost is $20. Register through the Oglethorpe County Rec Department; payment is due by May 24.
Coaches include Mason, William Ballard, Nate Owens and varsity wrestlers.
OCHS girls basketball camp set for June 11-12
The OCHS girls basketball camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon June 11-12 at the Oglethorpe County Rec Department.
The camp is for girls ages from entering kindergarten to the eighth grade. Cost is $50 per camper and $40 for two or more girls.
Wear a T-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes, and bring a water bottle.
