Jane Ash, 81, of Arnoldsville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025 in Deer Lodge, Montana.  She was born in Social Circle, Georgia, on Nov. 10, 1943 to Harry and Grace Chandler and went to Monroe Area High School.

Walter Goolsby, Jr., 80, of Atlanta, was formerly of Lexington.  A viewing for Mr. Goolsby was held Friday, Aug. 29, 2025 at Jones Funeral Chapel. The funeral service was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025 at Tabernacle of Praise Church International in McDonough, Georgia, with Bishop Timothy J.

Bobby DeWayne Cook, beloved husband, father, brother and community servant, passed away peacefully on Aug. 25, 2025.  Born to the late Herbert Batie Cook and Naomi Bird Cook, Bobby was raised with strong family values and a deep sense of service.

Obituary: Marilyn Jane Scarborough Dellinger

Marilyn Jane Scarborough Dellinger entered the gates of her heavenly home into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Aug. 24, 2025. Born in Lexington on Aug. 31, 1941, she was the oldest daughter of O.D. and Marie Bryant Scarborough. Jane spent much of her younger years in Lexington.

Obituary: Bobby Ray Fuller

Bobby Fuller, 64, of Hull, died Aug. 15, 2025. The funeral service was 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 at Jones Funeral Chapel in Crawford, with Minister Kathy Tanner-Moore, eulogist. Interment was in Athens Memory Gardens.

Obituary: Howard C. Esco Sr.

Howard C. Esco Sr., a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away on Aug. 23, 2025, at the age of 97.  Howard was born on June 18, 1928, in Colbert, to the late Hal H. and Leight C. Esco. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Surecia E.
