Marshea Glover, 71, of Atlanta, died April 1, 2026. A celebration of life service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 10 at The Enon Church in Atlanta, with Pastor Gregory Pollard, eulogist.

Obituary: Mildred “Jean” Wall Escoe

Mildred “Jean” Wall Escoe, age 93, of Crawford, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026.  Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Oneita Wall; her sister, Martha Helen Harris; and her brother, James Wilkes Wall.   Jean attended school in Crawford and Arnoldsville.

Rebecca Anne Finch (Armstrong), 83, of Jefferson, died on April 8, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Edna Armstrong. Rebecca devoted many years to the Oglethorpe County community in her role as an LPN at the Oglethorpe County Health Department.

James Michael McKinney Sr., born on March 16, 1953, in Athens, passed away on March 27, 2026, in Charleston, South Carolina. He was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent much of his life working as a heavy equipment mechanic for The Loaf Company and Louisiana Pacific.

Obituary: Rachel Sanders Adkins

Rachel Adkins passed away on March 27, 2026 at The Haven of Cedar Shoals in Athens, at the age of 91. She was raised in Stephens by the late RH and Janie Sanders. She married Willie Howard Adkins of Maxeys, and that is where they built their life together.
