Rebecca Anne Finch (Armstrong), 83, of Jefferson, died on April 8, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Edna Armstrong. Rebecca devoted many years to the Oglethorpe County community in her role as an LPN at the Oglethorpe County Health Department.

Rachel Adkins passed away on March 27, 2026 at The Haven of Cedar Shoals in Athens, at the age of 91. She was raised in Stephens by the late RH and Janie Sanders. She married Willie Howard Adkins of Maxeys, and that is where they built their life together.
