Ann “Peggy” McCannon Braden, 87, died March 10, 2022.    A native and longtime resident of Oglethorpe County, she was a daughter of the late Millard F. and Annie McCannon and was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, William Steve “Bill” Braden and her brother, Edd Milton McCannon.

Thomas Young Harris III, 86, of Crawford, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.   Tom was born in Oglethorpe County in 1935 to Thomas and Lottie Harris. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Peggy Bargeron Harris.

Thomas Edward Gabriel, 88, died February 16, 2022.    A native of Winterville, GA, he was a son of the late Lizzie Mae and Frank E. Gabriel, Sr. and was preceded in death by his wife, Doris McElhannon Gabriel and several siblings.
