OCHS softball nears playoffs The regular season is winding down for the Oglethorpe County softball team. The Patriots dropped a 13-3 decision to Elbert County on Tuesday to fall to 12-7 and 8-2 in Region 8-A Division I.

The Patriots competed against Elbert County's Blue Devils in the Granite Bowl in Elberton last Friday. OCHS lost 0-27, leaving them with a 2-3 record this season. They are set to play Athens Academy this Friday.

Eidson sparks softball to win over Commerce

Khloe Eidson went 4-for-4 with a home run, double and two RBIs to lead the Oglethorpe County softball team to a 10-2 win over Commerce in a game called after five innings on Tuesday night.

OCHS volleyball hits prime in time for stretch run

The Oglethorpe volleyball team has rattled off seven consecutive wins, hoping to ride that wave through the end of the season to a potential third straight Class A playoff berth.“I really want to win the rest of our area games, because that’s what we have left,” head coach Brianne Harrison said.

Crawford’s Restoration Run continues to grow
