Rosetta E. Wise, 55, died Oct. 15, 2023. A memorial service was at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23, 2023 at Jones Funeral Chapel in Crawford, with Pastor Gary M. Walker, eulogist.   Survivors include her sister, Courtney Faust; one niece; special friend, Bobby Kimbrough; aunts, uncles and other relatives.

Obituary: Donna Taylor Porter

Donna Taylor Porter, 46, of Stephens, died Oct. 23, 2023. Porter was the daughter of Martha Taylor and the late Raleigh Taylor. She was preceded in death by her first born, Michael Palmer, Aunt Carolyn Taylor and grandparents.   Donna loved her family, her only son and her fur babies.

Patsy S. England, 81, of Crawford, wife of the late Paul E. England, died on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023.   Born in Crawford on June 1, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William P. Spratlin and Eunice Spratlin, and sister to the late Billie Sue Boardman and Martha Spratlin.

Roy Gordon Stanley, 83, resident of Comer, died Sept. 20, 2023.    Roy was previously a cattle/poultry farmer in Oglethorpe County. Son of the late Alton and Ruth Stanley, and half brother, William Stanley.

Barbara Ann Ledford, 68, of Crawford passed away on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023 after an extensive illness.    A lifelong resident of Oglethorpe County, she was born on Oct. 13, 1954 to the late Fred and Bobbie Burgess.

Mrs. Lois “Ineata” Ruff Thomas King, 87, of Elberton, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023, at Magnolia Estates.    Ineata was born in Elberton on April 7, 1936, the only child of the late Charlie Carl Ruff and Lois Melissa Ayers Ruff.
