Mr. Lloyd H. Leahamn, 63, of Athens died May 8, 2024. Public visitation was held from noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 15. A celebration of life service was scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, May 16, with the Rev. Jeffrey Marion officiating.

Debbie Lynn Colquitt, 61, of Crawford, died May 11, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Henry G. and Margaret A. Brooks Jr. Colquitt was a member of Living Waters Baptist Church.   The funeral service was set for 2 p.m.

Paul Alphus Grimes, 89, of Crawford, passed peacefully into the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 28, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Oglethorpe County, where he was a member and honorary deacon of Welcome Avenue Congregational Holiness Church.

  Saniah Appling, 14, of Crawford, died April 19, 2024.    The funeral service was 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024 at New Grove Baptist Church in Winterville, with Pastor Elijah Swift, eulogist. Interment was in the New Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
