Lamar Sims, 51, of Elberton died Sept.18, 2024.  The funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 at New Hope Baptist Church, with Pastor Rufus Whitlock Sr., eulogist and pastor T.R. Thompson, officiating pastor. Interment was in the church cemetery.
